With an output protocol of RS232 and a baud rate of 9600 or 38400, it has indicator LEDs for OBD Tx/Rx, RS232 Tx/Rx, and Power. It operates at 12V with internal short-circuit and overvoltage protection and has a nominal idle current of 45 mA. The program allows you to read diagnostic trouble codes (both generic and manufacturer - specific), clear them, and turn off the 'Check Engine' light. It can display a wide range of current sensor data such as engine RPM, coolant temperature, and vehicle speed. Upcoming features include data graphing, logging, and more.
